Southland Advantage client Eddie Mannis is “Running Away” with fundraising, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. Businessman Eddie Mannis led the field with $114,605 raised for the second quarter, almost $30,000 more than the closest candidate. 

Mannis had this to say about the clear momentum of his campaign:

“Voters are looking for somebody with the experience and vision to lead the city,” he said in a statement. “I’m humbled by the support and will continue working hard to ensure we are successful in August.”

Eddie Mannis has served as Knoxville Deputy Mayor and owns small businesses in the Knox County area. Early voting begins August 7th and Election Day is August 27th. A runoff election will be held on November 5th.
